This five-day festival has garnered significant attendance, attracting people not only from Malda district but also from neighboring districts. Each evening of the festival features a renowned singer who captivates the city of Malda with enchanting songs, complemented by various cultural events.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of the District Magistrate of Malda District, the highest authority of the District Police, and the Principal of the Municipality of Malda District. The program commenced with speeches and acknowledgments, followed by a musical performance by Timir Biswas, who was accompanied by a guitarist and a drummer.
Timir Biswas, a well-known singer with a penchant for Bengali folk songs, gained widespread recognition through his playback singing in Bengali cinema. The captivating melodies of Timir Biswas’s performance today resonated with the audience, creating a harmonious atmosphere.
