About the film:
Jana Nayagan is a political-action film and marks the 69th film of actor Joseph Vijay, who was last seen in the movie G.O.A.T. in September 2024. Initially titled Thalapathy 69 and scheduled for release in October 2025, the film was later renamed Jana Nayagan. It is a Pan-India project directed by H. Vinoth and produced by KVN Productions. The film is set to release on 9th January 2026, during Pongal, and will also be available in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.
With the release of this political-action film, fans are filled with anticipation and nostalgia, believing it could be Vijay’s last dance- a grand farewell from the silver screen before he begins his political journey.
