As you can probably gather from the name itself, Malda Women’s College is situated in the ancient Malda district of West Bengal, established in 1970 as a Public Educational Institution, approved by the UGC, and accredited by NAAC.

It is also affiliated with Gour Banga University, Malda. It offers full-time Undergraduate courses in the field of Humanities (Arts) with a plethora of specialisations, including English, Bengali, Economics, History, Philosophy, among many others. Eligibility for Malda Women’s College

If not, at the very least, she must have scored 40% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in the subject opted for Honours. Application Process


Malda Women’s College only provides admission by applying through the online system. The application process usually starts after the Class 12 results are announced, in the month of May every year. After which, shortlisted candidates are called for counselling, followed by admission. Classes commence in early July.
