The Indian Railway Recruitment Board will be recruiting about 5 thousand 10th-passed candidates for the position of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) for Indian Railways from all over India, there are 5,696 vacancies for RRB ALP.

A total of 5696 vacancies of RRB ALP in different regions of India, with Ahmedabad offering 238 positions, Ajmer with 228, and Allahabad leading with 473 vacancies. Bangalore combines 219 regular positions with an additional 65, while Bhopal has 280, and Bhubaneshwar presents 124 regular vacancies along with an extra 1192. Other regions like Bilaspur, Chandigarh, and Chennai have varying numbers of openings. Notably, Secunderabad has the highest number of vacancies, offering 758 positions, and regions like Malda, Mumbai, Muzaffarpur, Ranchi, Siliguri, and Trivandrum have vacancies ranging from 38 to 547.

The educational qualifications need to apply in the RRB ALP, candidates should have passed the 10th class and hold ITI from a recognized institute. And have certificates in these trades, here are all of this, Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic, Electronics Mechanic, Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature and coil winder, Mechanical, Heat Engine, Turner, Machinist, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Mechanic.

The age criteria set for RRB ALP Requirement 2024 should be a minimum age of 18 years and a maximum age of 30 years. The selection process involves several stages, starting with the First Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT), and the Second Stage of CBT, a Computer Aptitude Test (CBAT), Document Verification, and a Medical Examination.

For the RRB ALP Recruitment 2024, there will be a few stages of the exams, There are 75 questions covering Mathematics, Mental Ability, General Science, and General Awareness in CBT 1. The total duration for the CBT 1 is one hour.
